About us

We are Enrique and Diana, a chemist and a biologist who, together with our son Tomás, we decided to make our dream of living in the countryside and having some rural accommodations that would allow us to reconcile our work with our values and our family life.

After much searching and life changes, we found the beautiful village of Murias in Baleira, and we knew it was the place perfect to begin our adventure: a unique environment, where we can offer tranquility, contact with nature and a familiar treatment of people concerned about caring for the planet.

So, we saw the opportunity to create something special. Due to our trining, we were clear

we wanted something more than accommodation. We wanted an experience that harmonize with nature and the environment. A philosophy of life.

With the help of Alex, our architect, who introduced us to bioconstruction, we startedworking on renovating our house. Despite having no experience prior to construction, each step forward filled us pleased.

Now we have two cozy apartments, built with sustainable materials and bioconstruction techniques.

In our accommodations, we promote regenerative tourism. Every detail is designed to minimize the environmental impact and offer an enriching experience for our guests.

We try to reduce the carbon footprint in the tasks we perform daily. We promote the separation of organic waste to make compost, that we use in our agroecological orchard, we separate and treat the waste water in a biological treatment plant, we use natural products and zero waste for cleaning the apartments, we offer quality local products for the breakfasts and homemade meals that we make, and our guests have the possibility of giving walks close to our apartments and of trying the eggs of our happy chickens. We also do training activities on bioconstruction, ecological orchard and medicinal plants.

Our apartments are located in the Eo River, Oscos and Buron Lands Biosphere Reserve,. A privileged place, although still unknown to the majority, where you can rest, enjoying the sounds of our river, contemplating the majestic mountains that surround us, breathing the pure air of our forests and observing our incredible skies night.

But our project is not only about sustainability. With our son Tomás and our lifemates Roki our dog, our chickens and ducks, we create a familiar and welcoming atmosphere where our guests feel part of our small community.
